The Pistons newly acquired point guard Jose Calderon will make his debut tonight against the New York Knicks. He hasn’t played with the team since being acquired on Wednesday due to visa issues.

So what should we expect from the new Pistons point guard?

What we have to remember is that this is only Calderon’s second team in the NBA. It’s always an adjustment for players to get used to a new team, especially for a point guard. Calderon still has to learn where his teammates like the ball at and the assignments that Lawrence Frank likes to run on offense and defense. It’s going to take a few games for him to get into rhythm with his new team.

luckily for Calderon, his experience being traded should go far better then any usual player. He has kind of had the experience of being trade, without actually being traded to a different team, because he has played with many different teammates and coaches with the Toronto Raptors.

What do you expect from the debut of Jose Calderon tonight against the New York Knicks?
