If you missed last night’s game between the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Bobcats, you missed one of the highlight moments of the year.
Late in the game, Bobcats rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist found himself with the ball with the shot clock winding down. Rather than forcing a bad shot, MKG took full advantage of the wide open space in front of him to make a move towards the basket.
Greg Monroe eventually stepped up to try to halt Kidd-Gilchrist’s progress but did little more than end up on a poster for all the wrong reasons.
