Curtis Granderson is one of those players that is east to root for even though he is no longer a member of the Detroit Tigers.

Even though he now plays for the hated New York Yankees, it comes as bad news that Granderson will miss the start of the regular season due to injury.

Granderson took a 2-2 pitch off the forearm in his first at bat today. X-rays showed a break and it is estimated that he will be out ten weeks. That means no March or April baseball for Grandy – that includes a trip to Detroit.
