#4 Michigan State Spartans (22-5) at #18 Ohio State Buckeyes (19-6)
Value City Arena – Columbus, OH
Game Time: 4:00 p.m. ET
TV: CBS
Favorite: Ohio State by 3

The last time the Michigan State Spartans took the floor, it ended up being a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of #1 Indiana. The next time they’ll play will be against in-state archrival #7 Michigan. Their minds can’t be on either of those game today, however, because Ohio State — themselves a top-20 team — have proven that they can stay competitive (and even beat) anyone in the conference.

The Spartans won the last meeting (in East Lansing) by three points behind solid efforts by Keith Appling (15 points) and Adreian Payne (14 points). Defensively, Michigan State will need to key in on Deshaun Thomas who went off for 28 points on 10-20 shooting the last time these two teams played.

Prediction: Ohio State 66, Michigan State 62
