Denard Robinson a Finalist to be EA Sports’ NCAA Football 14 Cover Athlete

Former University of Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson is one of two finalists to become the cover athlete for EA Sports’ NCAA Football 14 video game. The lesser-known Ryan Swope of Texas A&M is his competitor.

If Wikipedia is to believed, Robinson would make the third Michigan player to grace the cover of college football’s most successful video game franchise. Charles Woodson was the cover man for NCAA Football 99, and Desmond Howard took the spotlight in 2006 (to advertise the new “race for the Heisman” feature).

Voting is open on Facebook, and the race looks to be tight. At the time of this post, Swope leads Robinson by a mere 501 votes — 30,726 to 30,275. Check out Robinson’s video appeal for your vote below, then go out and vote in support of the in-state guy.
