The Michigan State Spartans and Wisconsin Badgers aren’t playing for a Big Ten title tonight, but the winner keeps those hopes alive while.

Both teams are one game back of the conference leading Indiana Hoosers in the loss column with two games to play. With just one game remaining for the Hoosiers, tonight’s loser will not have a chance to claim a portion of the Big Ten regular season title.

For the Spartans, this game is as much about getting right as it is about staying in the title hunt. MSU has lost three-straight and tonight’s matchup with the Badgers is the final game of a four game stretch against ranked opponents.

This is the kind of late-season matchup that both teams need to make their case for a best-possible seed in the NCAA tournament.

Here are the details for tonight’s game:

#22 Wisconsin Badgers (20-9) at #19 Michigan State Spartans (22-7)
Breslin Center – East Lansing, MI
Game Time: 9:00 p.m. ET
TV: ESPN
