Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr. Expected to Turn Pro After Final Four

With the Michigan Wolverines making their first trip to the Final Four in 20 years, there was bound to be some bad news to balance out the euphoria of the tournament run.

The bad news comes in the form of a report that Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. will be playing their final weekend of basketball for the maize and blue. Darren Heitner covers sports business for Forbes and that is what he is hearing from sources:

The news that Burke will turn pro is not surprising in the least. Speculation would have been rampant regarding Hardaway’s decision but I doubt that indications he will turn pro will be met with much surprise from fans.

The good news for Wolverines fans is that Mitch McGary has indicated he will return despite a stellar tournament run that has propelled his draft stock. Assuming McGary’s decision is final, that leaves just Glenn Robinson III with a decision yet to make.
