Most of us can’t even imagine what it must feel like to participate in an event such as the 2013 NFL Draft. One player from Michigan is finding out what it’s like to be in the prime time spotlight. Michigan Native Eric Fisher, Offensive Tackle from Central Michigan University, is expected to be a top pick in the 2013 NFL draft. Fisher is projected to go in the top five. If so he could become the highest selection in CMU school history.
It is clear from posts to his Twitter account that Eric Fisher is having a “once in a lifetime” experience.
@Big_Fish79 tweeted about his pre – draft experience from New York:
What a great night with all the people I brought out to New York! We are all truly blessed! #TrueSupport

Another standout CMU tackle Joe Staley had this to say in support of his fellow Chippewa:

Chippewa nation will be glued to the TV tonight at 8:00 pm. The Kansas City Chiefs have been projected to take Fisher with the first overall pick. If the Chiefs take Luke Joeckel, there is a possibility he could fall to the Detroit Lions if the Jacksonville Jaguars pass on him at number two. No matter where he is selected, as a Central Michigan University alum, I would like to congratulate Eric Fisher on his upcoming selection and look forward to him representing the Chippewa on Sundays. Fire Up Chips!
