Detroit Tigers  3    Kansas City Royals  2 – Max Scherzer was brilliant again improving his record to 9-0 by going 7 innings and giving up 2 runs on 3 hits. The offense struggled against the ERA leading Royals pitchers but managed to scratch out 2 of their three runs on a sacrifice and a fielders choice. The Royals and Tigers wrap up the three game series tomorrow in Kansas City at 2:10 EST.
