On the eve of the MLB trade deadline, three teams are working to finalize a trade that will impact the play-offs. Multiple sources are reporting that Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Avisail Garica is headed to the Chicago White Sox in a three team deal.  The Red Sox will be getting Jake Peavy from the White sox and an unnamed pitcher from Detroit in exchange for shortstop Jose Iglesias.

Jose Iglesias was likely acquired by the Detroit Tigers to fill the hole left by the probable suspension of Jhonny Peralta.

The reported trade has yet to be finalized due to the review of Jake Peavy’s medical records.
