On Wednesday, the Pistons traded point guard Brandon Knight, forward Khris Middleton and center Slava Krastov to the Milwaukee Bucks for Brandon Jennings.  The trade added another point guard to the Pistons already crowed backcourt consisting of Wil Bynum, Chauncy Billups, Rodney Stuckey, Kyle Singler and draft pick Kentavious Caldwell Pope.

Believe it of not, the Pistons are about to sign another guard, 2nd round pick Peyton Siva. Siva had an impressive showing in the summer league but the Pistons were struggling find a roster spot for the former Louisville Cardinal Captain.

That situation has changed.

The trade for Brandon Jennings opened up two roster spots and the door for Siva to join the Piston club in  2013.  Dumars is expected to fill one of those spots with Peyton Siva giving the Pistons 7 guards heading into the 2013-14 season.
