Detroit Lions vs Cleveland Browns Start Time, TV Channel and More

The Detroit Lions will be taking on the Cleveland Browns in the second preseason game of the season for the Edmund Fitzgerald Trophy.

Date: August, 15th 2013

Kickoff Time: 7:30 pm

TV: Locally on Channel 7 (ABC) pregame starts at 7:00 pm

Radio:  97.1 The Ticket, Dan Miller on the call.

Coach Schwartz said to Detroitlions.com earlier in the week that the Lions will be careful not to expose to much of the offensive scheme considering they will see the Cleveland Browns again in week six.  Jim Schwartz went on to say that he would be evaluating players based on their performance in key match-ups.  Schwartz did not specify which players he would be watching but you can bet Ziggy Ansah, Riley Reiff and Mikel LeShoure will be high on that list.

The Browns come into the game with a Quarterback controversy between Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell.  Weeden seems to be the leader but how each signal caller responds to new look Lions defense may determine who the starter will be. Browns running back Trent Richardson is looking to build on his solid 950 yard 11 TD performance in 2012.
