Detroit Lions Vs. New England Patriots Preseason #3: Start Time, TV, Live Stream and More

Detroit Jock City wants to get you ready for the Detroit Lions preseason Game #3 against the New England Patriots.  The Lions welcome the Patriots to Ford Field at a time when both teams are at a crossroads.  For the Lions, head coach Jim Schwartz must make critical decisions about his offensive line, defensive line and defensive secondary.

Lions To Watch:

Darius Slay has been turning heads at camp this preseason and may get a chance to be a part of the starting defensive unit against the Patriots. Louis Delmas returned to practice this week and hopes to start against the Patriots on Thursday.  Calvin Johnson missed last game with the knee bruise.  Expect Megatron to play with the first team offense as Scott Linehan attempts to fine tune his offense. The offensive line was unimpressive against the Browns.

Patriots To Watch:

The Patriots had a scare in practice this week when a player rolled up on Tom Brady‘s leg during an intersquad scrimmage.  How much Brady will play on Thursday is still up in the air.  Tim Tebow is working his way into the offense as a tight end. The Patriots will have their eye on him to see if he can cut it in the NFL at a position other than Quarterback.
