Central Michigan Chippewas V Toledo Rockets Preview, Start Time

The Central Michigan University Chippewas will open the MAC schedule on Saturday when they face the Toledo Rockets at Kelly Shorts Stadium in Mt. Pleasant.  The Chippewas have a 1-2 record coming into Saturdays game with the only win coming against FCS powerhouse New Hampshire. Last week the Central gave a game away when they blew a 21 point lead against a weak UNLV team.

Toledo is considered one of the better teams in the Mid-American Conference and will provide the toughest test yet for the Chippewas who have struggled with injuries early this season.  Even considering the injuries, the Chippewas have played uninspired football at times.

They will have to find a lot of inspiration to beat the Rockets who have faced a much tougher non-conference schedule. The Rockets held their own against the Florida Gators and gave the Missouri Tigers all they could handle.  Last week the Rockets got into the win column by defeating the Eastern Washington Eagles at home in the glass bowl.
