The Western Michigan Broncos continue their brutal non-conference schedule as they travel to Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium to take on the Hawkeyes.  Western comes into the contest 0-3 after losses to Michigan State, Northwestern and a debacle against Nicholls State.  Iowa is 2-1 with its only loss coming from MAC elite Northern Illinois.

The Broncos are 2-0 all time against the Hawkeyes and may find further encouragement in the fact that Iowa has already lost to a MAC team this year. But Northern Illinois is not your typical MAC team and Western is no NIU.

The Broncos will have to play perfect football to continue their win streak over the Hawkeyes. Western has a decent defense but the Tyler Van Tubbergen lead offense has fallen short. The Broncos signal caller has a knack of turning the ball over at key points in the ball game. If the Broncos have any hope of beating the Hawkeyes, TVT has got to get the turnover problem under control.
