Detroit Lions Injury Report: Calvin Johnson Out In Green Bay

The Detroit Lions are trying to break a 22 year Wisconsin losing streak against the Green Bay Packers today at Lambeau Field but they will have to do it with out there best player.  Calvin Johnson was out on the field during warm-ups testing the knee that kept him from practicing most of the week.  Apparently he didn’t like what he felt because he is inactive today against the Packers.

Johnson has been struggling with a sore knee the entire season but always managed to get ready for the game.  This time the there must be a little more to the injury in order to miss the Lions most important game yet.

That make the Lions very short at wide receiver after losing Nate Burleson last week after breaking his arm in a pizza… car accident. To replace Burleson the Lions side Kevin Ogletree off the waiver wire.  Chances are good that Ogltree will see some unexpected playing time today after only 4 practices with the team.
