Central Michigan Chippewas Beat Miami Redhawks 21-9

The Central Michigan Chippewas went to Miami and did what they need to do.  Get a MAC win.

The Redhawks have struggled this season and were just what the Chippewas needed.  The Chips offense hummed behind running back Saylor Lavalli who scored two touchdowns and ranked up 151 yards.

Lavallii has made the most of his playing time and has got a stranglehold on the starting job after an early season injury to Senior Zurlon Tipton.

The Chippewas get a big test next week when travel to Penden Stadium to meet the Ohio Bobcats.  The Bobacts have been one of the MAC better teams this year and will serve a measuring stick for the Chippewas and head coach Dan Enos.
