The Detroit Tigers have their backs against the wall on Tuesday when they face the Oakland Athletics in ALDS Game 4.  This game will be highly anticipated and not just because it is an elimination game.  The events of Game 3 have left fans with lots of sub plots to follow including some possible retribution for the A’s at the hands of the Tigers.

The story of Game 3 would have been the Tiger’s offensive struggles leading to another playoff loss of not for the antics of A’s closer Grant Balfour. Balfour dropped and f-bomb on Victor Martinez who retaliated with the same causing a benches clearing shouting contest in the bottom of the ninth. The altercation threatens to wake up the Tigers league leading offense which has gone long stretches without scoring a run.

Doug Fister will take the mound for the Detroit Tigers opposing Oakland A’s rookie Dan Straily.

No matter which team you root for tomorrows ALDS Game 4 is must see TV for any baseball fan.
