Reggie Bush averaged just 2.5 yards per carry in the Lions loss to Cincinnati. Despite having an excellent start to the season Bush has been inconsistent rushing for only 119 yards in the Lions three losses.
That will have to change if the Lions want to beat Dallas and remain above the .500 mark.
I definitely felt like after that game I could have run the ball better,” Bush said of his performance Sunday. “I felt like there were some areas where I missed some holes. I wasn’t running as aggressive. I have to correct that mistake. It starts with me first. I felt like there were some missed opportunities throughout that game that we just didn’t connect on.”
Reggie Bush is a very effective receiver out of the backfield but he needs to be consistent between the tackles in order to really keep defenses on their heels.
A healthy Calvin Johnson aiding the vertical passing game will help make some room for Reggie Bush to run but it’s up to him to produce.
That said, the Lions are happy with his production but need a stellar game from Bush this weekend to stop the Lions losing skid.
