The Detroit Lions are heading into the game with the Dallas cowboys on Sunday relatively healthy and that’s good news for a team looking to stay in the hunt for the NFC Northern division.

Calvin Johnson missed practice on Wednesday but practiced Thursday and Friday and is expected to start against the Cowboys.

Reggie Bush missed practice Friday but head coach Jim Schwartz told Tim Twentyman of Detroitlions.com that it was a maintenance day.

Another major offensive has also been listed as probable after missing some practice time. Brandon Pettigrew will be on the field and could serve as a safety value for Matt Stafford against a solid Dallas pass rush.

Major pieces of the offense might be ready to go but the offensive line is a bit dinged up.  Tackles Riley Reiff and Jason Fox are both questionable for the game against Dallas.  That said with the by-week coming next week if Reiff and Fox are close to playing strength expect them to play in the crucial game knowing extended rest is coming.
