Detroit Pistons Season Preview

The Detroit Pistons regular season kicks off on October 30, 2013 against the Washington Wizards. Detroit has made some of the best off-season moves NBA  and are poised for a playoff push this season. We will discuss what the overall record will be, coaching and roster change, who will be starters, and who is making a push for more playing time.

The Starters

Who the starters will be is a fluid at the moment due to injuries in the backcourt but I project a starting lineup will be Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond, Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, and Rodney Stuckey. That is of course when Jennings and Stuckey come back from injury. Considering the injuries, the starting lineup on opening day will be Monroe, Drummond, Smith, Chauncey Billups, and the rookie Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
