Michigan State Spartans V Nebraska Cornhuskers Preview, Start Time, TV

The Spartans and Cornhuskers will play for the legends division lead when they meet in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Cornhuskers sit just one game behind the Spartans in the legends division standings after their stunning win against Michigan last week.

The Spartans are coming off of a bye week after they took Michigan apart at Spartan Stadium two weeks ago. They can all but clinch the division by beating Nebraska.

Both teams have solid defenses but the Spartans defense is considered one of the best in the country allowing only 11.6 points per game.  To continue their dominance they will have to stop the Big Tens best rusher Ameer Abdullah. Abdulah averages 6.6 yards per carry and has already eclipsed 1,000 yards on the season.

But with two-week to prepare the Spartan defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi will have a few ricks up his sleeve.

There is no question the whether the elite Michigan State defense will be ready.  It the offense that should have fans concerned.

This is by far the biggest test for Michigan State QB Connor Cook.  Cook will be facing a great defense in a hostile environment. After this game fans will know whether Cook can develop into an elite quarterback or crumble under the pressure.
