The Central Michigan Chippewas continue their quest to qualify for a 2013 bowl when it welcomes MAC newcomer UMass Minutemen to Kelly Shorts Stadium.

UMass has had a rough first year in the MAC.  They are 1-5 in the MAC this season with the only win coming against fellow cellar dweller Miami Ohio.

The Minute men come into the game ranked near the bottom in every offensive category.  Their defense allows over 30 points a game.

Looks to be a good combination for the Central Michigan Chippewas who look to record their second consecutive non-losing season.  In fact the Chippewas will need a bowl appearance to have a chance at a winning season and without the Little Ceasers pizza bowl to lean on, they will have to impress selection committees by drubbing UMass at home.

It is really a must win game for head coach Dan Enos who is trying to return the Central Michigan Chippewas to the National relevance they had under Brain Kelly and Butch Jones. If Enos hopes to follow the path Kelly and jones took to a major conference head coaching job, he has to not only beat but embarrass teams like UMass at home.
