Michigan Wolverines V Iowa Preview, Start Time, TV

The Michigan Wolverines football season has just now turned out the way Blue fans have hoped.  for a season that has started with so much promise the Wolverines are just 7-3 with two games left on the schedule.

The first of those games is against the Iowa Hawkeyes in a stadium that is one of the toughest to play in the Big Ten, Kinnick Stadium.

Playing Iowa on the road is not something the Wolverines have had to worry about in a long time.  but this season is different.  After near misses against UConn, Akron, and Northwestern. An upset losses to Penn State and Nebraska and being completely dominated by rival Michigan State; the Wolverines are suddenly desperate for a win in Iowa City.

Like Michigan State and Nebraska this game could be a tough one for the Wolverines to win.

Iowa is similar to both Nebraska and MSU because they have a tough defense and a potentially explosive offense.  The Hawkeyes also have the extra motivation of kicking Wolverines team whiles it’s down and passing them in the Big Ten Standings.

With only Michigan and Nebraska left on the schedule the Hawkeyes have a shot at an 8 win season.  8 wins would mean a better bowl game and for a team not normally among the Big Ten leaders, that is a lot to play for.

Can Michigan rally the troops and find enough motivation to power them past Iowa?  Or are the Wolverines already looking ahead to the clash with arch rival Ohio State?
