Detroit Lions Injury Report: Chris Houston Doubtful

Last Detroit Lions fans saw Chris Houston he was getting burned for 85 yards on Sunday against Tampa Bay.  After that play, Houston came up limping and left the game with a foot injury.

That foot injury will likely keep him out of the game against the Packers on Thanksgiving.  The Detroit Lions injury report was released for the Thanksgiving Day match-up against the Packers and Chris Houston was listed as doubtful. Rookie CB Darius Slay will start in his place.

Slay was the starter at one point in the season but inconsistent play cost him the starting job.  Now he will get another chance in arguably the biggest game in the Lions season.

Louis Delmas, Calvin Johnson,Glover Quin and Isreal Idonjie are all listed as probable.

The Packers officially ruled out Aaron Rodgers for the game against the Lions.  There was a theory that even if Rodgers was listed as doubtful he may be available to enter the game if the Packers go into desperation mode. Now that he is officially ruled out, Scott Tolzien will back-up Mat Flynn who was named the starter on Wednesday.
