Detroit Lions Injury Report: Reggie Bush Is Questionable

Every game is big when your team is contending for a playoff spot.  The Detroit Lions game against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday is not exception.

But according to the Detroit Lions injury report the Lions will have to play this pivotal NFC match-up without several of its key players.

Reggie Bush missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a lingering calf injury.  Bush was able to practice on Friday but his participation was limited.

A bigger concern is the injury to Darius Slay’s knee in practice on Thursday. The “freak” injury kept him out of practice on Friday and he is listed doubtful for the game on Sunday.

He hurt his knee in practice yesterday. Still being evaluated,” head coach Jim Schwartz said. “We’ll just see where that takes us. It was sort of a freak thing.”

To further complicate things, CB Chris Houston is also questionable for the Eagles game. Houston did practice on Friday albeit limited.

The secondary is already the Lions defense’s weakest link.  With the possibility of having two starting CB on the self, it will be difficult to stop Philly QB Nick Foles.

The surprising play of Nick Foles this season has won him the starting job over incumbent Micheal Vick. Now the Lions have to try ans stop one of the NFLs hottest QB’s while shorthanded.
