Big Night for Michigan Sports Fans

It’s a dream night for sports fans in the state of Michigan. Not only does Michigan State play for the Big Ten Championship, both the Detroit Red Wings and Pistons play as well. Earlier today to begin the festivities, the Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team got their own victory.

The Red Wings will kick off the trilogy at 7:00 PM against the Florida Panthers. Stephen Weiss will be pumped up to play against his former team. Detroit is coming off an impressive, come from behind road victory against the New Jersey Devils.

Next at 8:00 PM, The Detroit Pistons will tip off at The United Center against the Chicago Bulls. The Pistons will look to win their fourth straight game and to rebound from their November 27th, 20-point loss at The Palace to Chicago.

Finally for the nightcap, at 8:17 PM, is the game for the roses when the Michigan State Spartans take on the Ohio State Buckeyes for the Big Ten Championship. This game is a must win for both teams as Ohio State has a chance at clinching a trip to the National Championship game, while Michigan State can clinch a bid to the Rose Bowl.

Make sure to have one television in your household tuned into each game. Have food and drink set up in each room as well. This can be a historic night for the state of Michigan.
