The Detroit Pistons extracted revenge on the Chicago Bulls tonight with a 92-75 win. Last time these two teams met Chicago embarrassed Detroit so it was nice to turn the tables. The Pistons also became the first team in the Eastern Conference to win a game at the United Center this season.
In the first half the game was competitive as the teams ended tied at 47. Then in the third quarter, Detroit blew the game open while outscoring the Bulls 24-9 and held on the rest of the way.
Brandon Jennings had his way tonight, leading the Pistons with 33 points while dishing out five assists. Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe and Josh Smith each recorded double digit rebound totals as they dominated the boards again. Over half of Andre Drummond’s rebounds came on the offensive end which was even more incredible.
Detroit is now on a four game winning streak and have raised their record to 10-10. Tomorrow the Pistons go for their fifth consecutive win against the Miami Heat. Pistons tickets are still available so make sure to grab some to see LeBron James and the Heat. The Pistons will be pumped for this game after beating them in Miami earlier in the week. It would be nice to see the Detroit Pistons beat them back to back times.
