BCS Results Are In!

The BCS results have arrived. Early season BCS favorite Oregon was left out along with other notable teams Oklahoma State, Missouri and South Carolina.

Florida State and Auburn will play for the BCS National Championship. I’m predicting Florida State will run the table because of their potent offense and phenomenal defense.

Alabama and Oklahoma will play in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Alabama should take care of business as they say good bye to their three time national champion quarterback AJ McCarron.

Clemson and Ohio State will play in the Discover Orange Bowl. If Ohio State couldn’t stop Michigan or Michigan State from putting up big offensive numbers, they have no chance at stopping Clemson. Clemson will be ready as they to say good bye to senior quarterback Tajh Boyd.

Michigan State and Stanford are in the Rose Bowl. This game to me will be the most competitive. They are even on both sides of the ball and are very tough in general. My gut feeling is Michigan State wins as they continue their historic season.

Baylor and Central Florida will duke it out in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. This game should be the most lopsided and I’m going with Baylor. Their offense just flies around the field. Central Florida took advantage of being in the weakest conference of all BCS qualifiers and still struggled in many of their wins.

This will be an exciting end to the current BCS format as we move on to a new playoff system. Good luck and congratulations to each team that made it.
