The Detroit Lions enter the Monday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens one game behind the Chicago Bears in the NFC North. With a win the Lions can retake the division lead virtue of the head to head tie breaker with the Bears. A loss plunges them to third in the standings.
A key game for the Lions to be sure. Some may even call it a must win game. But despite the stakes the Lions will try to stop the Baltimore offense with two key defensive players in the defensive backfield on the self.
Cornerbacks Chris Houston and Darius Slay did not practice this week and are doubtful for the game against the Ravens. That could make it difficult for the Lions defense to stop Joe Flacco and the defending world champions.
Jonte Green and Resheen Mathis are expected to start with recently signed Chris Greenwood playing a back-up role.
Both RB Reggie Bush and DE Ziggy Ansah are listed as questionable but are expected to play. Both Bush and Ansah had limited practice on Friday and Saturday.
