Lions Fans have waited for some years to be relevant enough to host a Monday Night Football game again. Now the time is finally here as the Baltimore Ravens roll into town to play a game with division and wildcard implications.

The Detroit Lions are 7-6, one game behind the Chicago Bears for the NFC North division lead.  If the playoffs started today they would be on the outside looking in.

That can change dramatically with a win tonight over the Ravens.

A win would put Detroit back on top of the NFC North by virtue of the head to head tie breaker and in control of their playoff destiny. A loss would plunge them into third place in the NFC North and dependent upon other to lose to make the playoffs.

The Lions have stayed relatively injury free this season. However as luck would have it they will have to overcome a couple of key injuries to the defensive secondary to come out of this game with a win.

Cornerbacks Chris Houston and Darius Slay are doubtful to play in the game on Monday. As a result the Lions have to use Chris Greenwood who was on the Lions practice squad just two weeks ago.

The Lions offense should be on the field intact as Reggie Bush and Calvin Johnson are both expected to play.
