The Detroit Lions are definately hurting after last week.  Not just mentally but physically hurting. But that won’t keep some listed on the Detroit Lions injury report from playing on Sunday.

A number of Detroit Lions did not practice this week but are still listed as questionable for Sunday’s do or die game against the New York Giants.

Calvin Johnson, Deandre Levy. Rashean Mathis and Chris Houston all were limited in practice this week and are listed as questionable. Although the players are questionable you can expect them to tough it out and play in this critical game despite the bumps and brusies.  Detroit Lions insider Tim Twentyman said as much in a tweet on Friday.

One player that won’t see the field is Brandon Pettigrew.  Pettigrew was ruled out today after suffering an ankle injury in the Lions loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

Punter Sam Martin, Safety Louis Delmas and special teamer John Wendling all missed some practiced this week but are listed as probable and expected to play.
