2014 NFL Draft: Darqueze Dennard Draft Stock Is Rising In Latest Mock Drafts

Michigan State Darqueze Dennard began the pre-draft season ranked as the top corner in the draft.  Then as Mock Drafts were updated Dennard dropped to a late first round pick, probably for no other reason than to shake things up.

Now at least one draft guru has Darqueze Dennard back on top again  In his latest updated mock draft, Todd McShay has the Michigan State standout as the #11 pick to the Tennessee Titans.

Mel Kiper has Dennard as the #13 pick the St. Louis Rams just two picks behind Oklahoma State corner Justin Gilbert.

That means if the Lions decide to draft a corner at #10 they will have their pick of all the top draft prospects at available.

According to their latest mock drafts,  Kiper and McShay have the Lions picking Alabama Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. That is of course if the Lions stay at number ten.

The Lions have met with or been linked to all of the top ten prospects in the draft fueling speculation that they could trade up.  If that happens it will not be for Darqueze Dennard but Khalil Mack or Sammy Watkin instead.

If Dennard gets past the Lions other teams with a need at CB include the Saints, Chargers, Jets, Titans,Bengals and Browns.
