Detroit Lions Will Use Eric Ebron Like Jimmy Graham

Moments after the Detroit Lions selected Eric Ebron 10th overall, information started leaking out of Allen Park as to how the Lions might use Eric Ebron in their offense.

According to Detroit Lions insider Tim Twentyman, the Lions already had a plan developed for how they would use Ebron.

With Brandon Pettigrew and Joesph Fauria still on the roster, Eric Ebron will probably be used more like a third wide-out at times. Ebron , like Fauira, has versatility and can be a threat down field offering a nice target for Matthew Stafford.

Offensive Coordinator Joe Lombardi saw first hand how a versatile tight end like Jimmy Graham can help boost a teams offense. If Eric Ebron can come anywhere near making that kind of impact on the Detroit Lions , he will be well worth the investment.
