This has been one of the most anticipated NFL Drafts in years.  Partly because of the extra two weeks of build-up and partly becuase of the depth of talent available. But despite all the uncertainty about who would go number one the draft started like we thought it would two months ago with Jedeveon Clowney.

After the Rams selected offensive tackle Greg Robinson it seemed like the draft would fall short of all the hype.

That is until Cleveland got involved.

Cleveland was the story of the draft trading down out of 4. Trading up out of nine and then trading up to 22.  In fact the Browns were involved, indirectly in almost every trade in the first round.

The second biggest story of the first round was the fall of Johnny Manziel who at one point was thought  to be the top pick in the draft. Manziel slid down to #22 only to be selected by a team who passed on him twice before, the Cleveland Browns.

As for the Detroit Lions, their pick left fans scratching their heads.
