FIFA World Cup: United States V Ghana Preview, TV and more

The United States begins group play in the World Cup today when they face Ghana in Brazil.  Now if you are a stranger to soccer then you might be thinking…where and who is Ghana.

Ghana is a small West African nation known for exporting Gold, Oil, Coca…..and soccer.  Ghana is no stranger to the World stage, making regular appearances in the World Cup.  In fact, Ghana eliminated the United States in the 2010 World Cup by a score of 2-1.

Now the Untied States will have a chance at revenge by handing Ghana and game 1 defeat and establish themselves as a favorite to emerge from the Group of Death.

The Group of Death is the 4-team grouping that has the toughest competition.  In this tournament Group G is considered to be the toughest. Group G consists of the United States, Portugal, Germany and Ghana.

If you want to catch the World Cup live on TV then you are in luck. Brazil shares the Eastern and Central time zones with the United States so catching the games will be as easy as turning on ESPN
