2014 NHL Draft: Preview, Start Time, TV Live Stream

June’s draft mania continues with the 2014 NHL Draft kicking off tonight at 7 pm.  The seven round draft will be split into two nights with the first round of Friday and round 2-7 on Saturday.

Draft Day is always huge for the Detroit Red wings who always seem to draft very well.

Ken Hollands ability to draft quality prospects has kept the Red Wings pipeline of talented young players flowing, Those prospects have added to the Detroit Red Wings ability to build on the fly with players like Gustav Nyquist, Jonas Gustavsson, Tomas Tatar just to name a few.

Last season Ken Holland spent the Detroit Red wings first round pick on Anthony Mantha who nearly made it on the roster last season.

Who will the next prospect be? Specualtion says the Red Wings are targeting several prospects including Michigan native Dylan Larkin a forward with the ability to play defense.
