The American League won their second straight All Star game with a 5-3 win over the National League. The win earns the winner of the American League home field advantage for the World Series.

The American League jumped out to an early 3-0 lead as they scored three in the bottom of the first. Two of the runs came courtesy of a Miguel Cabrera homer.
