Central Michigan Chippewas V Chattanooga Mocs Preview, Start Time, Live Stream

The Central Michigan Chippewas kick off the season against the Chattanooga Mocs in a game that is of great importance to both teams.

The #16 ranked FCS Chattanooga Mocs roll into Kelly Shorts Stadium with a Southern Conference championship on their minds.  The Mocs are favorites to win their conference and boast two of its best players in QB Jacob Hussman and DE Davis Tull.

The Central Michigan Chippewas are in their fifth season under head coach Dan Enos and only one winning season to show for it. If the Chippewas plan to snag a bowl bid this season they need to beat FCS opponents when they visit sunny Kelly Shorts Stadium.  Anything other than a win Thursday night would be a major disappointment for the Chippewas.

Last years starting quarterback Cooper Rush will start under center for the Chippewas. however the Chips will go with a running back by committee with Saylor Lavalli, Thomas Rawls, Naurice Shoemaker-Gilmore and Martez Walker all listed as number 1 on the recent depth chart. Wide-out Titus Davis begins his much anticipated senior season and is considered the conferences biggest offensive threat.
