The first Detroit Lions injury report of the regular season is out.  Thankfully it’s short.

Starting strong safety James Ihedigbo missed Thursday’s practice.  He’s dinged up with knee and neck injuries.  All indications are he’ll play Monday.

Backup free safety Don Carey also missed practice with a hamstring.  Backup defensive tackle Caraun Reid was limited with a shoulder injury.

The Lions also aannounced that OLB Kyle Van Noy will miss at least eight weeks when he was placed on sgort-term IR.

It’s funny Ihedigbo is in this report.  One of the reasons Louis Delmas was let go is his injury history.  Sometimes you can’t make this stuff up!
