We also seen the injuries continue to pile up around the league, with perhaps the biggest injury being wide receiver Calvin Johnson in Detroit. After being limited in the Lions week 4 win over the New York Jets, fantasy football owners were hoping desperately that Megatron would be back to his normal dominating self.

That didn’t happen though.

In what was his first and ultimately his only catch of the game, Johnson took a hit to his already injured right ankle. He left the field immediately and did not return. The Pro Bowl wideouts status at this point in time is uncertain for the Lions week 6 match-up with the Minnesota Vikings, but rumors are circulating that head coach, Jim Caldwell will rest Megatron this week. Possibly even longer.

News also broke today out of Cincinnati Bengals camp that wide receiver A.J. Green was carted off the field after aggravating his nagging toe injury. His status is now also grim for Sunday.

Furthermore, guys like Brandon Marshall and Vernon Davis also remain on the league injury report.

With so much uncertainty league wide with the health of the players, it’s more important than ever that you do your research to make sure you know who you should start, and who should sit in week 6. Or, you could let us do the work for you!
