Welcome back to Detroit Jock City, your one-stop shop for all things Detroit sports — and fantasy football. The NFL is headed into week 7, which is the half way point for most fantasy football leagues. On top of some great games this weekend, there are some other exciting storylines to keep an eye on as well.

Peyton Manning will look to break the all-time passing touchdown record currently held by Brett Favre. Manning will need three tosses into the endzone to break the mark.

For the Detroit Lions fans out there, Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints will roll into the Motor City this weekend. Current Lions offensive coordinator, Joe Lombardi spent the previous seven seasons as the quarterbacks coach to Brees in New Orleans.

If Brees and company are going to pull off the upset they’ll have to do so against the Lions No. 1 defense and do it without Pro Bowl pass catcher, Jimmy Graham. Graham is unlikely to play as he continues to battle a shoulder injury. On the plus side for the Saints however, running back Mark Ingram is slated to return to action.

There are plenty of other good match-ups around the league, and inside those match-ups — are great fantasy football match-ups. We’ll take a look at the best, the worst, and some sleepers worth taking a look at prior to Sunday.

Shall we?
