Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals: Game Time, TV, Radio, Injury Report

facebooktwitterreddit

The Detroit Lions are set to host the Arizona Cardinals in a rare late-afternoon start at Ford Field. Perhaps the schedule makers thought the Detroit Lions – already coming off back-to-back nationally televised primetime games – deserved a little extra attention for a third straight week or perhaps the late start was scheduled as a courtesy to the road fans. Whatever the reason, this game doesn’t have the luster it otherwise could, or should, have with the Lions coming in at 0-4.

The Cardinals may be coming off a disappointing home loss to the St. Louis Rams last week but they’ve otherwise done their job to show that last season’s success was not a fluke. Now the Lions need to put together a nice run of games if they are to be able to say the same.

The good news is that the defense has looked much better in recent weeks and linebacker DeAndre Levy is expected to make his season debut today. Even with the improvements the Lions have made on defense, they very much need his presence on the field. On offense, the injury news is not as good, where Joique Bell will miss his second straight game and Eric Ebron will be out after knocking knees in Seattle last week.
