Mock Drafts can be fun, but rarely are they right. With so much variation in teams player rankings, its difficult to figure out the top 10 much less who’ll be there at pick 16 for the Detroit Lions. Factor in trades and it even more difficult. Teams are already moving around the first round and I expect this trend to continue on Thursday night.

Will Bob Quinn trade back? Trade up into the top 10? What about trading into the back-end of the first round? Lots of fun to be had over the three days of the NFL draft.

While they can be difficult to predict, mock drafts can serve a purpose. This mock draft isn’t necessarily meant to be a prediction as much as fun way to distribute information. I have targeted players that I believe the Lions have genuine interest in, would fill roster needs/depth, and I see as high value for the pick they are assigned.

So read, have fun, and feel free to tell me where I’m right and where I’m wrong: @Erikschlitt.
