The Detroit Tigers continue their road trip with a three-game set against the Chicago White Sox. Here’s how you can watch the games on TV or streaming online.

The Detroit Tigers have fared better at home than on the road during their roller coaster 2016 season but inched their road record closer to .500 by taking two of three from the New York Yankees over the weekend.

It was a good start but the Tigers now move on to the most important games of the ten-game road trip, starting tonight when they start a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.

The White Sox have cooled considerably since jumping out to a lead in the AL Central. A 23-10 start gave the White Sox an early six-game lead in the division but just 8-22 since, they find themselves 4.5 games behind the division-leading Cleveland Indians.

The Tigers did their part in helping to cool off the White Sox earlier this month with a three-game sweep at Comerica Park.

Another sweep might be asking a lot, especially with another Mike Pelfrey-Chris Sale matchup, but with the Tigers’ pitching situation stabilized, it’s all about stringing together series wins. That’s exactly what they’ve gotten out of their last three series, starting with that sweep of the White Sox.

With four of the five teams in the AL Central packed withing 4.5 games of the division lead, the AL Central race is shaping up to be baseball’s best this season. Winning series is important, but winning series against division opponents is even more important.
