The Detroit Tigers hos the Minnesota Twins for a three-game series at Comerica Park. Here’s how you can watch the games on TV or streaming online.

The Detroit Tigers used a clutch ninth inning home run off the bat of Jarrod Saltalamacchia to defeat the Kansas City Royals on Sunday and clinch the series victory. The Cleveland Indians also won two-of-three over the weekend so the Tigers didn’t make up any ground in the division standings (they’re still 6.5 games back), but they did pick up one game in the Wild Card race.

At 48-44 the Tigers sit three games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for the second Wild Card spot with the Houston Astros being the only team between them.

The Tigers need to take advantage of series against weaker teams like the Minnesota Twins. A series win this week would help keep the team pointed in the right direction (they’re looking like deadline buyers) but a sweep would oh so sweet.

Unfortunately for the Tigers they’ll have to overcome a weak point in the starting rotation. Matt Boyd and Anibal Sanchez will take the ball in games one and two respectively. Both have struggled in the big leagues so far this year.

Here’s all the information you’ll need to find this week’s games on TV or online.
