The Michigan football team takes on Illinois on Saturday afternoon. Here’s how you can find the game on TV or watch online.

The Michigan football team returns to action after a week off to host the Illinois Fighting Illini in a contest between mismatched opponents.

When we last saw the Wolverines they were running roughshod over Rutgers en route to a 78-0 victory. It was Michigan’s first road game of the season, but they had few problems playing away from home.

Illinois is not Rutgers — the Illini beat the Scarlet Knights 24-7 just last week — but last week’s victory was only their first FBS win of the season. Illinois has played a respectable schedule (the early loss to Western Michigan looks excusable now), but they still have very little to show for it.

Don’t be surprised to see this one get out of hand early. Las Vegas likes the Wolverines by nearly 40 points. The Massey Ratings projects a more modest 30-point spread but still gives Illinois just a 2% chance of winning the game.

We have seen stranger things happen — college football can be crazy at times — but there’s no reason to fret about Michigan’s title chances coming to surprise ending this week. (Next week’s game might be a different story, however.)

Here’s all the information you’ll need to find the game on TV or streaming online.
