The Detroit Tigers host the Texas Rangers for three games. Here’s how you can watch on TV or streaming online.
The Detroit Tigers used back-to-back wins on Wednesday and Thursday to take the series against the Baltimore Orioles earlier this week. They’ll try to keep the streak alive as they welcome the Texas Rangers to Comerica Park for a three-game set.
The Rangers enter play on Friday with a 22-20 record that puts them in second place in the AL West. They’re 7.5 games behind the Houston Astros who seem intent on running away with the division.
The Tigers come into the game with a similar 20-19 record. They’re also in second place but the deficit in the AL Central is only one game.
The Tigers will be without Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez for much of the weekend. Martinez is out for the weekend on paternity leave while Cabrera strained an oblique muscle and will miss a couple days at least.
