The Eastern Michigan Eagles return home this week after a brutal 4 game road trip to face the Buffalo Bulls. As tough a test as the Bulls will be for the Eagles they pale in comparison to Florida and Michigan State, both of home they had to face on the road in recent weeks.

After losing 4 straight, the Bulls come to Rynearson Stadium at the perfect time for the Eagles. Eastern seems to have Buffalo’s number after winning 4 of the last 5 meetings between the two teams. The loss coming from a 42-14 blow-out at Buffalo last year.

The Eagles will start Rob Bolden again at quarterback. Bolden is starting to find his groove under center passing for 320 yards and 3 touchdowns in two starts for the Eastern Michigan Eagles. But the LSU transfer has also had problems with turnovers, tossing 3 interceptions in the same span. Two of those INT’s came in the 31-6 loss to Akron last week.

If the Eagles are a 14 point home underdog against the Bulls, but if Eastern can hold on to the football they could give fans (and the odds makers) something to cheer about.
