Free agency has filled some holes here and created some holes there. With the major flurry of activity over, it’s time for a new NFL mock draft.

The wheels of NFL free agency have turned and the major action has slowed down now that the first week has passed. For some teams, major needs have been filled. For others, new holes have opened or holes that were intended to be filled remain open.
But free agency is not a finish line and it is far from the only way to build a roster. It’s a nice way to plug a few holes in the short-term but it is the draft that is the cornerstone of a solid roster-building philosophy.
That being said, what happens in free agency certainly has an impact on how a team approaches the NFL Draft, particularly with their early picks.
Player movement in free agency over the last week has changed some scenarios, making this a perfect time to take a fresh look at how the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft could play out with a new NFL mock draft.
